Woman Burns Ex’s Items, Then Stabs Him in Shocking Attack

A young woman is now in police custody after allegedly launching a violent attack on her ex-boyfriend in Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra. Identified as 29-year-old Augustina Adoma, the suspect is facing serious charges including arson and physical assault following a disturbing domestic altercation.

Authorities report that the confrontation began as a verbal dispute but quickly escalated into a physical encounter. During the incident, Adoma allegedly set fire to several personal belongings of her former partner, including clothing and electronic items.

The situation worsened when the man tried to stop her. In response, Adoma reportedly grabbed a knife and stabbed him.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after and took Adoma into custody. The victim’s condition has not been disclosed, but investigations are currently underway as officials piece together the events leading up to the assault.

The case has raised alarm over the increasing number of violent incidents stemming from relationship breakdowns, especially in urban areas.
