Nana Agradaa Breaks Her Silence in Prison — Here’s What She Told Her Husband

In a deeply emotional moment shared from the pulpit, Angel Asiamah, husband of jailed evangelist Patricia Asiedua—widely known as Nana Agradaa—has revealed her first heartfelt message since entering prison: a public apology to three influential figures in Ghanaian politics.

Speaking during a service at the Heavenway Champion International Ministries on August 3, 2025, Asiamah recounted a recent visit to the Nsawam Female Prison, where his wife is currently serving a 15-year sentence. He explained that he asked her what she would say if given just one minute to address the nation.

According to him, without hesitation, Agradaa expressed a desire to beg for forgiveness from three key individuals: former President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and NDC’s National Communications Officer, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi. She reportedly prayed that God would soften their hearts to forgive her.

Nana Agradaa, formerly a traditional spiritualist, was convicted on July 3, 2025, following a high-profile trial centered on her controversial “money-doubling” operation in 2022. The court found her guilty of deceiving members of the public through false claims and exploitative spiritual advertising.

The Accra Circuit Court sentenced her to 15 years of imprisonment with hard labour, and she was transferred to the Nsawam facility shortly after her sentencing.

Despite the dramatic fall from grace, her husband said Agradaa remains committed to spreading the Christian faith. Even behind bars, she has reportedly begun ministering to fellow inmates, sharing scripture and offering spiritual support as part of what she sees as her renewed calling.

Her story continues to generate public debate, especially in light of her transformation from a controversial spiritual figure to a self-proclaimed evangelist — and now, a convicted felon seeking redemption.
