1. Ebony Reigns & Rudebwoy Ranking – “Haters Anthem”
This fiery collaboration dominated the airwaves seven years ago, raising hopes for more pairings between the two. Those hopes were cut short when Ebony died in a road accident on February 8, 2018. Her collaborator, Rudebwoy Ranking, also passed away after a brief illness on April 24, 2024.

2. Awurama Badu & Omanhene Pozoh – “Medofo Adaada Me”
A classic highlife gem that still stirs hearts. Awurama Badu, a pioneer of female highlife, died on October 26, 2017, while Omanhene Pozoh passed a year earlier on September 21, 2016.

3. Daasebre Dwamena & Castro – “Hwe Sɛsɛi Ne Ahwenie”
Two legends joined forces on this evergreen masterpiece. Daasebre Dwamena died on July 29, 2016, while Castro, who disappeared in July 2014, was officially declared dead in 2021.

5. Okyeame Kojo Kumi & Terry Bonchaka – “Asem Bɛn Nie” (Enye Menia)
This energetic collaboration highlighted Terry Bonchaka’s unmatched style and Kojo Kumi’s lyrical power. Bonchaka tragically lost his life in a car accident on October 29, 2003, while Kojo Kumi passed away in February 2015 after health struggles.
