Ghana’s entertainment scene has once again been thrown into controversy following the release of Stonebwoy’s latest EP. A track titled “Deeper” has drawn speculation among fans, with many claiming it subtly targets fellow dancehall giant Shatta Wale.
This development has prompted sharp reactions, particularly from entertainment analyst Mawuli Ekpe Peter, popularly known as Abro. Speaking during a segment on Fakye Showbiz on September 15, 2025, Abro cautioned that Stonebwoy may have jeopardized his career with the alleged jab.
According to him, Stonebwoy should issue a public apology to Shatta Wale before matters escalate further. He suggested that the musician risks losing his shine if he continues down this path. Abro also pointed to reduced turnout at Stonebwoy’s recent Accra Sports Stadium appearance as evidence that the rivalry could be hurting his image.
The critic further revealed that in a past conversation, Shatta Wale indicated he would no longer respond to Stonebwoy’s remarks, a stance Abro believes could leave Stonebwoy vulnerable.
