  • Kingdom of Eswatini represented at the third day of Nana Konadu Yiadom III’s burial rites on September 17, 2025.
  • Deputy Prime Minister of Eswatini, Senator Thulisile Dladla, extended condolences and support to the Asante Kingdom.
  • Other dignitaries present included:

  • Funeral rites began September 15 and will conclude September 18 with burial at Breman Baamu.
  • Public and dignitary filing past occurs daily from 5 am to 5 pm, except on burial day (ends at 11 am for 3 pm service).
  • Outdoor movement restricted from 7 pm on September 18 for burial proceedings.

The Kingdom of Eswatini has expressed solidarity with the Asante Kingdom during the ongoing funeral rites for Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla visited Manhyia Palace to extend her country’s condolences and offer support during the royal family’s mourning period.

The third day of the burial rites also drew several prominent figures, including Igbo King Eze Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, Paramount Chief of Aflao Torgbui Amenya Fiti V, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie.

The funeral program, which commenced on September 15, will culminate on September 18 with the interment of Her Majesty at Breman Baamu.

Filing past for both dignitaries and the public is scheduled from 5 am to 5 pm daily, except on burial day when it ends at 11 am to prepare for the 3 pm ceremony.
