Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Acting Chief Justice of Ghana, spearheaded a delegation from the Judiciary to Manhyia Palace to pay respects to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II following the death of Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the late Asantehemaa.

The judicial team included members from the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, and various divisions of the Judicial Service, alongside representatives from the Ghana Bar Association. Each member personally paid homage to the Asantehene, expressing heartfelt condolences to the royal family.

Other dignitaries present during the third day of the burial rites included the Deputy Prime Minister of Eswatini, Senator Thulisile Dladla, Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, Paramount Chief of Aflao Torgbui Amenya Fiti V, and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene.

The four-day burial ceremonies, which began on September 15, 2025, will conclude with the final burial at Breman Baamu on September 18. Daily filing past for dignitaries and the public is scheduled from 5 am to 5 pm, with the last day ending at 11 am to allow for the burial service at 3 pm.

A restriction on outdoor movement will take effect from 7 pm to ensure a smooth and respectful burial.
