Contrary to circulating rumors, Mustapha Suleiman, who was violently attacked during the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, is very much alive.
Speaking exclusively to GhPage, Mustapha’s mother described her son as a gentle and kind-hearted individual, refuting earlier claims about his death.
She shared that while Mustapha has always been generous and introverted, he has exhibited unusual behaviour recently, which she attributes to spiritual possession.
Medical insights confirm that Mustapha, 29, is dealing with a mental health condition linked to prolonged substance use.
A report from the Asuofua Polyclinic in the Ashanti Region, signed by psychiatric officer Yayra Kwame Amengor, indicates he has been under treatment since September 2024 and continues to receive monthly antipsychotic injections and tablets.
Despite ongoing care, he is experiencing a relapse.
Authorities have been urged to consider his medical condition and ensure he receives the necessary support and treatment.
