Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has unveiled plans to launch a new record label aimed at developing and promoting emerging talents in the music industry.
The announcement came on September 25, 2025, during the Kumasi Rising Seminar at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The seminar was part of the lead-up activities for his historic Rapperholic: The Homecoming concert at Baba Yara Stadium on September 27, 2025.
In an interview with media personality Serwaa Amihere, Sarkodie said he was inspired to create a platform that nurtures young artists while giving them exposure to global music markets. Reflecting on his earlier success managing acts like Akwaboah and Strongman under Sarkcess Music, he expressed pride in how those artists have grown their brands and built solid fan bases.
“I’m proud of what we achieved with Sarkcess Music. Look at Akwaboah and Strongman now; they are thriving and have created their own identities in the industry,” he said.
Sarkodie added that his team is actively scouting fresh talent both locally and internationally, promising that the official launch of the new label and its first signees will be revealed soon.
