The Deputy Director of the National Commission on Culture (NCC), Dr. Richardson Commey Fio, has underscored the importance of shared responsibility in preserving Ghana’s cultural identity, warning that it cannot be left to government alone.
Speaking at the launch of the Akwaaba Club in Accra on September 27, 2025, Dr. Fio argued that the survival of Ghana’s culture depends heavily on the involvement of individuals, educators, and especially the younger generation.
