Evangelist and former Highlife musician Papa Shee has taken a strong stance against “side chicks,” preaching in a busy market while publicly supporting Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa.
In a video circulating online, Papa Shee, dressed in his signature all-white kaftan, addressed shoppers from atop a speaker, denouncing women involved in secret affairs with married men. He labelled such women as “Jezebel” and daughters of “the devil,” warning that society’s tolerance of infidelity perpetuates immorality.
The preacher specifically called on the public to support only Akosua Serwaa in the ongoing legal dispute over the late musician’s widowhood rites, stating that anyone backing other parties aligns with evil.
Papa Shee also recounted the wedding of Daddy Lumba and Akosua Serwaa, urging those siding with other women to repent. His sermon comes amid a heated feud between Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, and his second wife, Odo Broni, with disputes centering on who should perform the widowhood rites.
Throughout the controversy, Papa Shee has consistently supported Akosua Serwaa, attending court proceedings and condemning the other side, drawing significant attention online for his bold declarations.
