Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and former NDC National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Said Sinare, has hailed the 2026 National Budget as a transformative milestone for the country, describing it as a “national resurrection” while sharply criticizing the New Patriotic Party’s response.
Alhaji Sinare argued that the opposition’s commentary on the Budget exposed a lack of depth and political understanding, contrasting it with the clarity, precision, and forward-thinking approach of the current administration. He framed the Budget not merely as a financial plan but as a blueprint for economic revival, social protection, and national dignity after what he described as years of mismanagement under the previous NPP government.
The ambassador highlighted that under the NPP’s tenure, Ghana had been plagued by fiscal missteps and global stagnation, but the NDC government has brought order and a renewed focus on productivity, industrial development, and social welfare. According to Sinare, the 2026 Budget reveals the opposition’s inability to engage meaningfully, portraying them as unprepared and confused in the face of competent governance.
He lauded the Minister of Finance for the Budget’s meticulous execution and praised the President’s leadership for steering the nation toward a path of economic stability and growth. Sinare concluded by urging Ghanaians to recognize the Budget’s transformative potential, asserting that the NDC is committed to rebuilding and repositioning the country, regardless of the opposition’s criticism.
