The Minister for the Interior, Mohammed Mubarak Mutaka, has announced that Thursday, December 25; Friday, December 26; and Thursday, January 1, 2026, are statutory public holidays and should be observed nationwide.

The holidays mark Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day respectively, in accordance with Ghana’s public holiday calendar.
