Freezy Macbones and Joshua Tetteh will battle for the WBA Africa Light Heavyweight title on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The bout between Freezy Macbones and Joshua Tetteh forms part of a boxing night organised by Legacy Rise Sport in collaboration with Matchroom Boxing Promotions.
The duo have been building strong anticipation for the fight following heated clashes at the Kotoka International Airport and during the official face-off at Black Stars Square on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Fans will be expecting an entertaining contest, with both boxers having exchanged bold words ahead of the bout.
Meanwhile, the headline bout on the night will feature Craig Richards versus Dan Azeez in what promises to be a tough encounter for the light heavyweight title.
Richards (19-4-1, 12 KOs) scored an impressive knockout of then unbeaten Shakan Pitters, setting up major opportunities against Dmitrii Bivol and Joshua Buatsi, where he delivered strong performances.
Azeez (22-2-1, 14 KOs) experienced one of the more abrupt falls from grace in recent memory. Once seen as a rising star in the UK’s stacked light heavyweight scene, a rough loss to Joshua Buatsi appeared to have stopped his momentum.
Shatta Wale will also perform to entertain fans at the venue.
