The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for the trust placed in the party and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering on its mandate as the nation celebrates Christmas and prepares for the New Year.

In a statement issued by the party’s National Secretariat on December 24, 2025, the NDC acknowledged the responsibility entrusted to it by the Ghanaian people and noted that it has taken deliberate steps over the past year to restore confidence in governance.

According to the statement, the NDC government has prioritised stabilising the economy, strengthening accountability, and laying the foundation for sustainable growth, while placing strong emphasis on social protection and responsive leadership.

As Christians commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, the party encouraged reflection on values such as compassion, peace, sacrifice, and gratitude, which it described as central to national unity and progress.

Looking ahead to the New Year, the NDC reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to economic recovery, job creation for the youth, stronger public institutions, and improved living standards for all Ghanaians.

The party assured citizens of its continued discipline, responsiveness, and results-driven governance in the year ahead, and wished Ghanaians at home and abroad a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
