Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has paid homage to the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom and it’s Life Patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on the occasion of Christmas.
A contingent of Interim Management Committee members, Technical Team members and members of the playing body showed up at the Afia Kobi Park at the Manhyia Palace where His Majesty hosted both subjects and guests to celebrate the festivity with them.
The delegation was led by the IMC Chairman, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua.
The King reserved December 25, 2025, to mark Christmas with his people and staff, embodying the spirit of Christ’s love.
Present at the occasion were Nananom; Kumasi Mayor Richard Ofori Agyeman-Boadi who represented the Ashanti Regional Minister; former Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah; Former Kumasi Mayor Sam Pyne; New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong and other officials.
Also joining to pay homage were staff of Opemsuo Radio, Bodukwan Multi Fruit Processing Factory, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, Manhyia Palace Museum, Asante Kotoko SC, and Manhyia Police Division.
