The Melcom Care Foundation has donated food items to the Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. 

This is to support patients receiving dialysis treatment, many of whom are unable to fully participate in the festive celebrations due to their health conditions.

The donation formed part of the foundation’s corporate social responsibility activities aimed at supporting the needy and vulnerable, particularly during the Christmas season. 

The items presented included cooking oil, bottled water, bags of rice, and soft drinks.

The Head of Marketing of the Melcom Group, Eric Annor, said the donation reflects Melcom’s long-standing commitment to giving back to society.

He said Christmas was a period of celebration and togetherness, and the Melcom Group considered it important to identify with patients who are unable to enjoy the season in the usual way due to medical challenges. 

A nurse at the Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital, Vivian Malvin Adzah, expressed appreciation to the Melcom Care Foundation for the kind gesture.
