This is equivalent to 2,000 penalty units, with up to two years’ imprisonment in default, after he pleaded guilty to charges of possession and unlawful use of a firearm.

Cyborg was arraigned after a viral video showed him discharging a firearm into the air during a public gathering, an act that raised serious public safety concerns and drew swift action from law enforcement agencies.

Upon his plea of guilty, the court convicted him on the charges and imposed the fine, stressing that celebratory gunfire and the misuse of weapons pose grave risks to public safety and will not be treated lightly by the justice system.
