The mother of embattled social media personality Ebo Noah has made an emotional appeal to Ghana’s leadership and the Ghana Police Service, urging them to show mercy and pardon her son amid his ongoing legal challenges.
In a video shared on social media on January 5, 2026, the distressed mother called on traditional authorities, political leaders, and prominent public figures to intervene on Ebo Noah’s behalf.
Mentioning personalities such as Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President John Dramani Mahama, and actress Nana Ama McBrown, she pleaded for compassion, while also commending the Ghana Police Service and the Inspector-General of Police for their work.
She acknowledged that her son had acted wrongly but stressed that he had shown genuine remorse and lacked the financial means to meet the court’s demands.
“I know Ebo Noah did not do the right thing. He regrets his actions and does not have the money to pay the court,” she said.
According to her, Ebo Noah is deeply sorry for causing hurt to many people on social media.
“He played with people’s emotions on social media, and he is truly sorry,” she added.
She further clarified that her son is not mentally unstable, explaining that his actions may have been influenced by unemployment and the apparent success of others earning income through social media platforms.
“He is not mad. He is jobless, and perhaps he thought he could use TikTok to make money, just as others are doing,” she explained.
The mother concluded by appealing to influential voices across the country to help seek leniency for her son.
“Those who have influence in this country should please help plead for him. Have mercy on me and forgive my son for what he has done,” she pleaded.
