Court Remands Man for Allegedly Attempting to Murder His Brother and Sister-in-law

The Berekum Circuit Court has remanded a man for allegedly attempting to murder his brother and sister-in-law over a disputed cashew plantation.

The accused person, identified as Emmanuel Yeboah, is reported to have attacked them while they were on their way to the farm, inflicting injuries on them.

He was arrested on January 3, 2025, while the Police retrieved a cutlass as an exhibit.

He was put before the court and remanded into police custody to reappear on January 12, 2026.

The police further reported that the victims are currently on admission at a health facility, receiving medical treatment.
