GH Family comprises Ghanaian UK-based artiste, producer, and filmmaker RKB, alongside artist and sound engineer NAD. “It all started with the original song NAD produced,” says RKB. “When I heard it, I knew the intro had more potential than the hook. I told him, ‘Go back and give us more of that.’”
NAD adds, “When I brought back the revised version, he loved it. After he recorded his verse, I pulled the catchiest part to strengthen the hook. Now, we are excited to share our first single, Do Your Dance.”
Drawing inspiration from the Tanzanian safari and the Swahili language, Do Your Dance captures the essence of African movement within an Afrobeat framework. The song blends Afro-dance, urban gospel, street realism, and cinematic emotion, reflecting the artists’ diverse journeys across continents and creative industries.
