In a social media post shared on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, his birthday, the award-winning artist reflected on Ghana’s global image as one of the most peaceful nations.

“Guys, we really are from one of the best (in so many ways) and most peaceful countries in the world. No matter what we go through personally and the struggles of life, let’s not take this for granted,” he wrote.

Beyond the message of unity and gratitude, D-Black marked his birthday with a humanitarian gesture. He visited the Rising Star Orphanage in Dodowa, where he donated through the Desmond Blackmore Foundation.
