Julius Emunah leaves GFA, set to be named Hearts Managing Director

Julius Emunah has announced his resignation from the Ghana Football Association after almost ten years of service.

Emunah served as Head of Competitions at the GFA. He joined the GFA in 2016 as Western Regional Secretary before becoming Regional Administrative Manager of the Western Region Football Association, a role he held until 2020.

He later moved to the national level, serving as National Safety and Security Officer and Club Licensing Manager between 2020 and 2024.

He is expected to replace Delali Anku-Adiamah as the Managing Director of the club.

Anku-Adiamah served from February 2024 until December 2025.

His immediate role at Hearts of Oak as Managing Director will include representing the club at key football governance bodies such as the GFA and Premier League Board, as well as overseeing all of the club’s operations and reporting directly to the Board of Directors and working closely with the Executive Chairman.
