Ghana and Japan have reaffirmed their commitment to maximising the vast economic potential of the two countries.

This came up at a Business-to-Business (B2B) Matching Reception held on Thursday, 15 January 2026, in Accra.

The event provided a platform for Ghanaian companies and the Japanese mission to share ideas, exchange experiences, and gain valuable insights into mutually beneficial opportunities.

Key areas of focus included finance and capital, infrastructure, manufacturing and technology, commercial and professional services, as well as public, multilateral and NGO-related initiatives.

The Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Kunimitsu Ayano, and Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Trade and Agribusiness, Sampson Ahi, who graced the occasion, jointly called on citizens and businesses of both countries to deepen investment cooperation.
