3 More Suspects Arrested in Connection with Adabraka Jewellery Shop Robbery

Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the daylight armed robbery attack on a jewellery shop at Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region in 2024.

The suspects identified as Fatao Mohammed, Nashiru Abubakari, and Sadick Abubakar Satire were arrested on January 19, 2026.

“The three are believed to be the main gang leaders of the robbery syndicate,” the police said in a statement issued on Tuesday.

This brings the total number of suspects arrested so far in connection with the incident to seven (7).

“The Ghana Police Service assures the public that investigations into the Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop robbery are ongoing and reiterates its commitment to bringing all persons involved to face the full rigours of the law.”

It will be recalled that on November 2, 2024, a daylight armed robbery occurred at a jewellery shop in Adabraka, during which an amount of GH€7.5 million was stolen.
