Popular Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has shared how she manages trolls and negative comments on social media to protect her peace of mind.
Speaking Onua TV on January 20, 2026, McBrown said she has adopted a straightforward approach to dealing with online negativity in order to safeguard her mental and emotional well-being.
According to her, any negative comment from someone she does not know is deleted immediately without a second thought.
“When someone I’m not familiar with leaves a negative comment under my post, I don’t even check the person’s profile. I simply delete the comment,” she explained.
The award-winning actress noted that although her fans and loved ones often rush to defend her in the comment section, she prefers to remove such remarks to spare them the stress of engaging with trolls.
“Sometimes our loved ones fight back at those who post hateful comments, but to save them the stress, I just delete the comments,” she said.
McBrown revealed that in the past, she used to investigate the identity of people who posted negative remarks before responding, but she has since outgrown that habit.
“Initially, I would take time to check who the person was or where they lived to see if they were worth my attention,” she stated.
She stressed that she has learned not to allow a single negative comment to overshadow the massive love and support she receives from her fans.
“I won’t allow a one-minute comment to destroy my one million comments,” she added.
