Show True Patriotism Beyond January 31st – Justin Kodua urges Presidential Aspirants

The General secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong has called on its five presidential aspirants to demonstrate their commitment to the party and its democratic processes, affirming that true patriotism goes beyond personal ambition.

Addressing the aspirants, Justin Kodua emphasized that the party’s constitution governs all members, regardless of position, and cited examples of former aspirants who, despite not winning, remain committed to the party. “They didn’t win, but they never forgot they are members of the New Patriotic Party,” he said.

He commended the Presidential Elections Committee, chaired by Honorable Joseph Osei Owusu for its work in ensuring a free, fair, and transparent election.

To him, the committee has involved aspirants in compiling the voter register and ensured their representatives are part of the process.

He also assured the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of its commitment to a peaceful election, urging him to ensure security at voting centers.

“We assure the IGP and his men will guarantee us total peace and security in all our voting centers,” the representative said. The party warned that anyone attempting to disrupt the process would be dealt with accordingly.
