The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has denounced as “fake news” media reports claiming 60% of military applicants tested HIV positive. They state the medical screening is still ongoing, no results have been released, and all such figures are false. The GAF is working to find the source of this “mischievous and irresponsible” publication and has warned media creators to verify information with official sources before spreading unverified claims.
