The Electoral Commission (EC) has affirmed its full readiness to conduct the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for Saturday, January 31, assuring all stakeholders that preparations are well advanced.

The Commission said all key logistical and administrative measures have been put in place to guarantee a smooth, transparent and credible electoral process.

He explained that critical preparatory activities, including the printing of ballot papers, have been completed under stringent oversight, with representatives of the aspirants present throughout the process.

“Our preparations are far advanced. The printing of the ballot papers, which was done in the presence of the representatives of the aspirants, has been completed,” Mr Tetteh said.

He further noted that the Commission has since taken custody of the ballot papers from the printing facility and has also received the official voter album for accredited delegates.

According to him, all materials are expected to be dispatched to the 16 regional capitals by Tuesday, ahead of their onward distribution to constituency centres.
