Women’s FA Cup: Hasaacas, Ampem Darkoa and Jonina Ladies reach quarterfinals

The 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup is down to the final eight after the round of games played during the last weekend.

Hasaacas Ladies, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Samartex Ladies and Jonina Ladies are some of the heavyweights who are through to the quarterfinal of the cup competition.

Hasaacas claimed a 3-0 win over Epiphany Warriors at the Kobby’s Astro Turf in Takoradi with Veronica Baah Kumah, Loretta Afful and Mary Ndali all getting onto the scoresheet.

Army Ladies recorded a narrow 3-2 victory over lower-tier side Sissamba Ladies, while Tamale Super Ladies defeated Dreamz Ladies.

Akosombo Ladies suffered a 0-2 loss to Jonina Ladies in a game which saw 11-year-old Ella Obiri Yeboah make her debut for the Accra-based side.

Samartex also were the superior over Rootz Sistaz, claiming a 2-0 home win.

In other games, Ampem Darkoa Ladies brushed aside competition from Gyagba Ladies, beating them 4-0, while Supreme Ladies also recorded a 4-1 win over Bolga Sharp Arrows.

FC Savannah were also 2-0 winners over Arm of God Ladies.
