Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah has begun his recovery after spending about ten months on the sidelines following surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

Following the successful procedure, the winger has started rehabilitation and has now resumed ball works on the training ground as he aims to regain full fitness.

This is a positive development for both the club and the player as Lyon prepare for their final group game in the Europa League against PAOK.

His full recovery will also be a major boost for the Black Stars, as he played a key role in their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Lyon will host PAOK in the final group game in the ongoing 2025/2026 UEFA Europa League on Thursday, January 29, at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
