Cabinet has approved a recommendation for the revocation of all state lands sold without due process. The move is aimed at ensuring value for money and protecting state assets.
Speaking during a visit by Vice President Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, the sector minister, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, warned that once the process is completed, public officials will no longer be able to unlawfully acquire state lands, as the names of those involved will be published.
He stressed that the ministry will strictly implement Cabinet’s directive.
