The future of media broadcasting will dominate the spotlight at this year’s 2026 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show.
The event, scheduled to take place from April 19 to 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is expected to highlight emerging trends reshaping broadcast and production workflows.
According to organizers, this year’s event will place a stronger spotlight on sports media, creators, artificial intelligence and the rapidly shifting economics of the media and entertainment industry.
The show will also tackle AI‑driven tools, media asset protection, cloud‑based production and the expanding creator economy.
Bringing together broadcasters, content creators, technology companies and executives from across the global media landscape, “NAB Show is where the global media community comes together to shape what’s next,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president of NAB Global Connections and Events.
She noted that breakthroughs in AI, cloud technology and new content models are “redefining how our industry works.”
A major expansion for 2026 is the four‑day Sports Summit, titled The Future of Sports Rights and Fan Engagement.
Attendees are encouraged to register for the show, which will include the Business of Media and Entertainment program, produced with The Ankler, now a three‑day series on shifts in financing, production and monetization.
The Creator Lab also returns with a larger footprint and added sessions on AI, creator strategy and audience growth.
The event will also unveil completed renovations at the convention center and introduce a new mobile app to help attendees navigate the show.
