Lawyer Kwaku Amoh-Darteh, Head of Campaign Communication for Team Ken, says Ghana often dismisses outspoken leaders as unfit for presidency, yet transformative global leaders are often unconventional. He believes Kennedy Agyapong fits this mould and can drive Ghana’s growth.
Speaking at the launch of his book “Builder-In-Chief” in Accra, believes Kennedy Agyapong has the skills and talent to drive Ghana’s economic growth, citing his successful businesses as proof.
“Ghana often labels truthful individuals as “not presidential material” simply because they’re outspoken or unconventional. Yet, looking at transformative leaders globally, many are seen as controversial or unorthodox, but drive progress and growth in their countries.” He believes Kennedy Agyapong fits this mould, with the potential to drive Ghana’s growth.
According to him, Ghana Needs a Builder-in-Chief, Not Just a Commander-in-Chief. A leader who can add value to its resources and create jobs for the youth. He described Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as truthful and honest, capable of taking Ghana to the next level.
Lawyer Amoh-Darteh emphasized that business involves various areas like accounting, operations, and strategy, and Ghana has all these sectors in its economy.
He questioned why Ghana can’t utilize its resources, add value, and export products abroad instead of relying on imports. Amoh-Darteh believes with the right vision and strategy, Ghana can achieve this and boost its economy.
