Member of Parliament for Kumawu on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, Hon. Anim Yaw Ernest, has expressed optimism that the NPP will win the 2028 general election.
The politician disclosed during an interview with Kwame Tanko, monitored by Gh Page.
“I am optimistic that 2028 is a good year for the NPP to take power from the NDC”, he said.
In his explanation, the politician said that unlike the NPP, the NDC would be bringing a new presidential candidate on board to face Dr. Bawumia, who is already out there.
He noted that even though the NPP primaries have yet to commence, he is optimistic that the party will present Dr. Bawumia again after the latter is proclaimed the winner of the upcoming primaries.
Among the NPP flagbearer hopefuls, Hon. Anim stated emphatically that Dr. Bawumia stands tallest among them, stating that the former vice president of Ghana is most knowledgeable.
