According to Showboy, upon further inquiry, he realised the police officers had neither a reason nor a tangible basis for the arrest, leading to him resisting arrest.
“The guy say he no have no warrant for me; na ein ID card be the warrant,” he said.
He added that the police officers had attempted to seize his car, but his two friends tried preventing them, leading to their arrest.
“They try drive ma car away. Pablo and Password try stop them, they beat them, arrest them on top. Cool, no yawa. All because they know they don’t have any lawful legal reason to arrest me,” he added.
Showboy said he will file a formal complaint regarding the incident on February 3, 2026.
