Some delegates in the Kwabre East Constituency have expressed anger over what they describe as the withholding of funds allegedly meant for them by an agent of former Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.

According to the aggrieved delegates, a woman identified as Pat is alleged to have kept the money for reasons unknown to them. They have therefore called on Dr Adutwum to intervene and caution his agent before the situation escalates.

The delegates claimed that the agent has been selective in distributing the money, allegedly giving it to only a few individuals.

“We are waiting for Patricia to bring our money from Adutwum’s camp. She has kept the money for reasons best known to her. We are calling on Adutwum to call her to order, otherwise he will secure zero votes,” one of the delegates said.

They further alleged that they have received money from the camps of the other aspirants, with only that of Adutwum outstanding.

“The rest have already paid theirs. We are very disappointed that Adutwum’s agent, Pat, has allegedly run away with the money. We are waiting for her to bring it before we go to vote. If she fails to do so after waiting for some time, we will vote massively against her camp, and he will place last,” they lamented.
