Ghanaian forward Yaw Asamoah Agyei has signed for Atalanta on transfer deadline day in Europe from EurAfrica.

The 18-year-old joined the Italian side on a one-and-a-half-year deal, with an option for an additional two years.

The deal will see Agyei feature for Atalanta’s U-20 side.

Agyei will hope to excel at the youth level to earn an opportunity in the first team.

The move was brokered by player agency Arthurlegacy Sports, which handles a host of Ghanaian players, including Cagliari midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana, Viktoria Plzeň forward Prince Kwabena Adu, and former Roma and current Amedspor striker Felix Afena-Gyan.
