This initiative originates from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Ghana Police Service (GPS) and the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), established in May 2025.

The aim is to recruit and train 12,000 young individuals as Community Police Assistants (CPAs).

These CPAs will support law enforcement efforts, enhance community safety, prevent crime, and build public trust.
