Papa Shee announced a 3-day prayer crusade for Akosua Serwaa

Papa Shee, a longtime friend of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has announced plans to organise a three-day prayer crusade in support of Akosua Serwaa, the legally married wife of the late musician.

The announcement was made during a Team Legal Wives press conference held on Monday, February 3, 2025, where Papa Shee addressed the ongoing legal dispute between Akosua Serwaa and members of Daddy Lumba’s family.

According to Papa Shee, the crusade will take place in Accra from Thursday, February 19, to Saturday, February 21, with activities expected to be held around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle area.

“We will have a big crusade at Circle. It will be three days, from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st February. Team Legal Wives will gather to pray for our madam, Akosua Serwaa,” he stated.

He urged the public and supporters to attend the event and intercede for Akosua Serwaa, asking God to grant her victory and protection amid the legal battle.

“I urge everyone to come and pray for God to bless our lady and set her free from the shackles of her enemies,” Papa Shee added.

Quoting scripture, he emphasized that prayer is essential for securing divine intervention and success in the ongoing court case, insisting that the crusade would play a key role in strengthening Akosua Serwaa spiritually as the legal process continues.

This comes amid a legal dispute surrounding Daddy Lumba’s estate between the two wives of Daddy Lumba, Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni.

Lumba’s widow Akosua Serwaa, along with his sister and daughter, filed for letters of administration in Kumasi High Court on January 14, 2026, listing 19 properties valued at approximately GH¢5.43 million total, including multiple houses, land plots, businesses (DLFM and DL Water), and vehicles.

However, Daddy Lumba’s other wife, Priscilla Ofori (known as Odo Broni), has filed a caveat through her lawyers, arguing that the presence of another legally recognised spouse prevents any single party from unilaterally controlling the estate distribution.
