Chairman Wontumi, aka “I will change Mahama’s position from 8 to 7 to show him I have power” has bragged that he deserves to be the next NPP National Chairman.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman on the ticket of the NPP stated that all his competitors are capable and deserve the position, he is the best among them.
Explaining why he feels he is better than the rest, Chairman Wontumi stated that even though the performance of the NPP was extremely abysmal, his region, the Ashanti Region performed better than the others.
He said “Even though the NPP did not do well in the last elections, my region did not suffer like others,” adding that “I worked hard to protect our seats and keep the party active in Ashanti”.
According to Chairman Wontumi, “ a big club like Manchester United loses a match, people still look for one player who played well”, revealing that “In this case, that player is me.”
Chairman Wontumi noted that “I believe I deserve the national chairmanship slot because of what I have done”.
