From the video, he is heard saying; “I don’t know what came over me to attempt the theft. Please forgive me; I regret my actions. Additionally, I didn’t intend to steal the car. Trust me on this.”

From the video too, a bystander was heard exclaiming, “Bring him out of the car; let’s deal with him. He deserves to be beaten.”

Another voice from the video said; “Instead of stealing what doesn’t belong to you, go out there and look for work. Thieves like you are the reason people can’t enjoy their hard-earned possessions. You deserve to face justice.”
