Mahama Cares says no amount is too small
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund, which is also known as Mahama Cares, has appealed to Ghanaians to support life-saving interventions during the month dedicated to the demonstration of love; as the public gear up to mark Valentine’s Day on February 14.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Monday February 9, 2026, the Fund expressed appreciation to individuals and organisations whose contributions have helped sustain its operations and provided critical support to patients across the country.
According to the Trust Fund, the collective generosity of the public has made a difference in hospitals and homes, offering renewed hope to families facing difficult medical situations.
“Because of you, lives have been saved. Fear has turned into relief. Despair has given way to hope,” the Fund stated in the post, acknowledging the impact of donations received so far.

It stressed that the support has gone beyond financial figures, reaching hospital wards, waiting areas and households where families were on the brink of losing hope.
“You didn’t just give. You chose life,” the statement added.
Mahama Cares further encouraged the public not to underestimate the value of their contributions, noting that every donation counts in the effort to save lives.
“No amount is too small. Stand with the Ghana Medical Trust Fund. Help us save a life,” the post urged, while outlining various donation channels.
The Fund called for sustained support throughout the month of love, emphasising that continued contributions will enable it to extend assistance to more patients in need across the country.
