Our Engineers are Fixing Broken High-tension Poles at New Suame- ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says its engineers are working around the clock to restore power after high-tension poles at New Suame broke down.

The situation has plunged residents around Wa Lorry Station and the surrounding areas in the Ashanti Region into darkness.

In a notice, the company apologised for the inconvenience.

“ECG wishes to assure affected customers that our Engineers are working to rectify the fault and restore supply,” it assured.

In a related development, the ECG broken conductors on the Mayera feeder at Accra West Region had left its customers Abensu, Mayera, GH Housing, Pokuase Afiaman, Osofomaame, and surrounding areas in darkness.
