Ghanaian international Mohammed Fuseini scored his first goal of the 2025/26 season in Royale Union Saint-Gilloise’s win on Wednesday evening.

Fuseini netted in the 4-1 win in the second leg of the Belgian Cup as Royale Union Saint-Gilloise booked a place in the final.

The current league champions came into the game at home off the back of a 0-0 draw in the first encounter earlier this month.

The Ghanaian was handed a starting berth in the game as one of a few changes made to the team that played in the first meeting.

Promise David scored the first goal of the night in the opening minute before the away side drew level through Aurelien Schedler, leaving the score 1-1 at halftime.

However, in what was a one-sided affair in the second 45 minutes of the clash, it was Fuseini who scored just five minutes after recess to restore USG’s lead in the game.

David cushioned the ball in the box for the Ghanaian, who struck with his weaker foot to make it 2-1 in the 50th minute.

The goal was Ghanaian’s first of the season, having returned from a long-term injury that kept him out for mostof the first half of the season.
