Jambo Spaces, Ghana’s first digital and creator hub based in Accra, will participate in the Fifth Edition of The Meeting Place Festival this March, continuing its work at the intersection of culture, technology, and creative economy development across Africa and the Caribbean.

The organisation will engage in two key segments of the festival: the Trinidad & Tobago Summit scheduled for March 10–12, and a special invite-only convening in Washington, DC on March 26.

These engagements will bring together cultural leaders, policymakers, creatives, and institutions to explore issues around creative industry infrastructure, digital culture, and cross-regional collaboration.

Jambo Spaces is a member of the Caribbean InTransit consortium agreement, a framework designed to foster South–South creative collaboration between Africa and the Caribbean. Through this partnership, both institutions support shared programming, knowledge exchange, and ecosystem-building initiatives aimed at amplifying the creative economy across both regions.

The Meeting Place Festival serves as a key platform within this collaboration, enabling sustained dialogue and practical engagement between practitioners, institutions, and policymakers.

The Jambo Spaces delegation will include Natasha Mann-Dedey, Co-Founder of Jambo Spaces, who will speak on creative infrastructure and digital creator ecosystems. Also participating is Kojo Appiadu Junior, a digital content creator from the Jambo community, who will lead hands-on content creation workshops in both Trinidad and Washington, DC.

The Meeting Place Festival is founded and led by Dr. Marielle Barrow. Through her work with Caribbean InTransit, she has gained recognition for shaping critical dialogue around Caribbean futures, cultural mobility, and creative industry ecosystems. Through sustained programming, research, and international convenings, Caribbean InTransit has positioned The Meeting Place Festival as a respected platform for cultural exchange and policy-informed creative practice.

Jambo Spaces’ participation aligns with its broader mission through the African Digital Creator Academy (ADCA), which supports young creators with access to skills, infrastructure, and global networks. By engaging with The Meeting Place Festival, Jambo Spaces reinforces its commitment to Africa–Caribbean collaboration as a driver of youth empowerment, cultural sustainability, and global creative impact.
