CBG celebrates World Radio Day and Valentine’s with listeners on Joy FM

Personnel from the Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) visited Joy FM’s Super Morning Show to mark World Radio Day and spread some Valentine’s cheer to listeners.

The team highlighted the enduring importance of radio and shared ways in which the bank continues to engage with its customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Head of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brands at CBG, Mavis Frimpong, said, “We are from CBG, as we do it every year, it’s a tradition today is world radio day and so we know the importance of radio and how far radio has helped us to reach far. So, we are here this morning from CBG to celebrate the day with you and also to tomorrow is valentine, so we are here to also share the love with you as well.”

Procurement Manager at CBG, Dennis Nii Noi, added, “We greatly value the partnership we have with radio as a platform for our business. You, the listeners, are important stakeholders. Given that tomorrow is Valentine’s, or Chocolate Day, we decided to bring a touch of Ghanaian flavour to the celebration by sharing locally made chocolates as a token of our appreciation for your support over the years.”

Also present, Jude Matey from Products Value Management, highlighted special Valentine’s offers for customers, saying, “We’ve partnered with Electroland, Capital Restaurant, and X-Men, and anyone using their CBG card at these locations will enjoy discounts. Beyond our usual products and services, this is our way of giving back to customers and making this Valentine’s extra special.”
