The management of Ghanaian singer Efya, born Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Awindor, has cleared the air amid reports stating that the musician has tied the knot.
In a report by Adomonline, sighted by GhanaWeb on February 17, 2026, the management debunked claims that the musician got married in a private wedding ceremony.
According to the management, the videos that circulated online were from an after-party following a knocking ceremony.

They explained that the videos were not meant to be made public, adding that the acclaimed singer has not undergone any private wedding ceremony, contrary to speculation.
“The whole thing was not supposed to come out. I am wondering why someone would share the videos. Do you know how many people have knocking ceremonies and nothing happens afterwards? So why would people call it a marriage? The family has not concluded the process, and this could even create unnecessary pressure,” they stated.
