Ghanaian politician who doubles as the chairman of the incumbent NDC party, Asiedu Nketia, known better as General Mosquito, has asked Ghanaians to blame the previous government for the decline in cocoa prices.
Speaking in a viral video, Asiedu Nketia noted that the decrease in cocoa prices does not correlate with the first gentleman of Ghana, President Mahama.
General Mosquito stated emphatically that, if there is to be blamed for the decrease in cocoa prices, it is the previous government led by former president Nana Akufo-Addo.
However, Asiedu Nketia advised Ghanaians not to worry, stating that the president, and the NDC at large are trying their best possible to resolve the issue.
“President Mahama wants to expose some group of people. The NPP’s bad governance is a result of the current cocoa prices”, he said.
