Two persons have been confirmed dead in an accident along the Ho–Aflao Highway.
The accident followed a collision between a Ford Transit with registration number VR-322-20 and a Honda Civic with registration number GN-1166-16 around 4 pm on February 17.
Preliminary reports indicate that the Transit, carrying 14 passengers, collided with the saloon car while attempting an overtaking.
Rescuers from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Kpetoe Fire Station, led by STNO I Stephen Ahuzey, responded swiftly.
They rescued 12 victims and transported them for medical treatment.
The deceased have since been handed over to the police.
