Ghana Captain André Ayew has stressed the importance of a vibrant fan base and electric stadium atmosphere as key factors in his decision to join Dutch outfit NAC Breda.
Speaking in an interview, Ayew admitted he has always preferred clubs with passionate supporters and intimidating home grounds, drawing comparisons to his time at Olympique de Marseille and during his spell in England.

According to the experienced forward, playing in front of energetic fans brings out the best in him and creates an environment that fuels performance on the pitch.
“I like clubs with strong fan bases and loud stadiums. That’s something I’ve always enjoyed, especially from my time in Marseille and in England,” he said.
André Ayew also went on to rate NAC Breda’s stadium atmosphere highly, praising the consistency and intensity of the supporters.

“The stadium here is very good. The fans are always behind the team, and you can feel their support. That’s very important for a player,” he added.
